My life pretty much revolves around my dogs. Playtime, feeding time, bed time....it's all about the dogs. Currently, I have 4 four dogs, one recently ran away, but we hope to get her back soon! Two are puppies and two are much older, all ranging in breed types. There is a story behind each dog, which I will share and I hope you will share yours! My love for dogs pretty much started as a young child. I demanded dogs as a kid but I was not ready for the work it took to actually get a dog and prove that I could keep it, so they came and went. But as I got older, I started realizing that something was missing in my life. Once, I got my first dog, Castro, I knew it was meant to be. So, come on my journey with me through the life of the dogs I have and let's share our experiences, information and good times!

Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, Oh My!

We had a yellow lab. He was our first child. He helped us raise 3 kids. He traveled around the world with us when we were working overseas. He lived to be 15 years old. We never could bring ourselves to try to replace him.
ReplyDeleteI love hearing stories like this! I hear so many stories of people who move and "re-home" their pets. You wouldn't "re-home" your child if you move, so why would you do that do a dog? They are family! I hope my dogs live for that long :)
DeleteOne of my first dog was a German shepherd, I was so excited when I got him because he was the dog I all ways wanted. I remember that he was a good guardian in the house because every time he heard someone outside he would lets us know.
ReplyDeleteGerman Shepherds are amazingly awesome dogs! We just got a shepherd (australian) and I'm not sure i ever want another kind of dog. Stay tuned for pictures!
